Engine: 92 5.0tpi Bosch III, headers, msd
Transmission: 700r4 built. trans go. 2,300 stall
Axle/Gears: 3:73 posi ls disc brake conversion
swapping 2.8 mpfi to 305 tpi. quick question
Hey guys. Just secured a 91 305 tpi engine, trans and all parts for swap. I need to know if my exsisting fuel pump will run the 305. My 2.8 was muliti port injected. I do have the correct fuel lines for the swap.
Also, I'm in need of the exhaust y-pipe. The 305 does have headers on it. Need a decent used one for now until I secure more funds for a stainless exhaust system.

if its for sure a tpi engine (not tbi) that is getting swapped, then yes your fuel pump used with the 2.8 fi will work.
