Serpentine conversion
Converted over to this and have a couple of questions. Since the alternator is on the opposite side, I have to make some adjustments.
I had to buy a new pigtail for the newer alternator, but it has 3 wires from it, one larger one. The wires from my stock configuration only have two. What do I need to connect this properly? I have a single wire that originally went to the back of the alternator bracket, does this need to be spliced into that 3rd larger wire on the newer alt?

You do know the water pump has to be replaced as well, right? And maybe the p/s pump also?

Yes. I replaced everything with new.
I do have another question. The serpentine ac compressor has 2 prongs on the front, and a round 2 prong in the back. Are both supposed to be used? My factory pigtail only fits the front.

Ok, thanks. I already bought a round pigtail and connected it to the rear. Why are there 2 ports, anyway? Oh well, I'll reconnect the old pigtail.
