Just bought a 90 RS that it is said to have been changed at some point to a truck 350TBI.It looks like it could be so.I dont know what year the motor is.But they said it lost oil pressure and they keep trying to get it to run and the knock got louder.Wonder why? I'm trying to decide weather to put a 305tbi back in which is what was stock. Or find another truck motor to put in.3rd choice is going to a 305tpi or 350tpi Sence harness and computer would have to be changed.How much stuff off this 350tbi would be usable onto a 305 or 350 f body motor. They said everything worked on it.ie.air condioning,alt,starter,ect. My 350tpi Iroc air isn't working and just wondered if the air stuff might be of some use on that. Any info would help,Thanks

 

Most of the parts on there should be interchangeable, aside from internal working parts, most brackets and accessory routing and mounting parts will work, as long as the 350 is a GM, which I'm assuming it is since it's rare to find someone put a non-gm block in a gm car.

 

I'd say the chances of it having a 350 in it are less than 50%.

But, whichever it is, it would probably be easier and cheaper to find a 350 out of a truck than any of the other options you have.
