problems with intakes on a 350
problems with intakes on a 350
i have a 1990 suburban. just need a lil help. I recently got my hands on a 350 for it. the casting #s are 3970010 for the block. this engine is carburated. my suburban is tbi. the intake for the tbi has a different angle on the intake. i found an adapter for the carb intake to make it tbi. is that a good idea. am i going to have any other problems? if anyone can help me i would apperciate it.

Some of the adapters work fine. One of them I think it's the Holley one, relocates the front to rear, and makes it hard to fit everything. I think it's the Edelbrock one, fits better.

Those adapters will raise the TB enought that you might have to modify your throttle cable,TV cable, and fuel lines.
