305 to 350 tpi swap questions

found my dream engine (within my budget). i picked up a 350 tpi with the following:

rebuilt 350 tpi with < 1k miles running the following
Patriot performance all aluminum cylinder heads
Comp 270h cam
Holly stealth ram intake with high performance fuel rails
Bosch 36 lb injectors
58mm polished holly throttle body
Msd coil and cap and wires
Titanium coated Edelbrock headers with y pipe
Computer with tuned/upgraded chip

It's going in the my 89 vert which is currently a stock 305 auto but does have 3" exaust with flow master.

I want to know if its a drop in with my existing tpi setup as far as wiring harness goes? It's a tpi to tpi swap, plus the computer and chip. Lastly can you guys tell me is there anything else i should watch out for, or consider when doing this swap? I was told it was putting out 450+ hp and close to that in torque.

thanks.

Re: 305 to 350 tpi swap questions

forgot to mention, i also already have a walbro high flow fuel pump installed with the racetronix plug/play wiring, and upgraded ground connectors (or something like that).

oh, what do you guys think of this engine setup?

Wiring harness - '89 was a unique year. MAF with no cold start injector. Just depends upon what computer the engine has with it.

36 lb injectors? Are you planning on a dry nitrous kit?

Re: 305 to 350 tpi swap questions

ironically they are both 89 tpi cars. however the one i am taking the engine out of was also a 305 to begin with, but had the 350 put in later by prior owner. so should i just look at the 2 computer boxes and see if they are the same?

as far as nitrous, not sure but not in the immediate future. is there something i need to know about that?

You'll be fine. Just be sure to use the correct injectors and prom, don't mix them up....
