Re: L98 Swap Finished

you have nearly everything you need, you pull the old engine, swap over everything to the new engine and bolt the new engine back in.

the only new part youll need is a 350 knock sensor and a 350 prom, (if you dont have the 350 ecm). itll run, but wont run its best with the 305's tbi. theres a few of threads around here about putting the tbi on top of a 350.

Re: L98 Swap Finished

You will need a harness for tpi or at least re-pin your existing one.. There are threads on here that cover that.

Re: L98 Swap Finished

is he keeps the tpi from the vette, hell have to use the ecm from the same vette, which if hes got that, chances are hes got the harnes as well.

if you dont have the ecm or harness for the tpi, youll need both. or just an ecm from a tpi 350 and repin your harness. or you can rework your stock tbi and use it with the stock harness and computer with a little bit of work.

Any 730 ecm will work, it doesn't have to be for a 350 tpi.
