I am doing a 305tbi to 350 vortec carb engine swap and I have a ? about the serp assembly. I took both sides of the serp. assm off of the engine (305tbi). but how do I get the studs out of the oem tbi heads so that I can install the entire serpentine assembly the exact same way on the 350 (vortec heads)? There is a long stud on each head that sticks out of the heads they don't have anything to put a wrench on so that I can turn them and the serp. assm. hooks onto it kind of like a guide pin and it has a 15mm nut that screws down onto the serp assm. help me out please!

 

you can get 2 nuts that fit the studs screw them on lock them together abd take them out or buy a reverse torx socket and take them out
