Good Buy?
I have a chance to pick up an abandoned 1997 Firebird WS6. Just wondering what the quasi-experts opinions were. I have an 89 IROC that is 100% stock. I was looking for some more power but not over the top. I think an LT1 or LS1 would serve the purpose. I would use the firebird drive train, ECU and wiring harness in my thirdgen. Any thoughts??

Re: Good Buy?
There is a ton of useful info on swapping the LT1 into a thirdgen here.
If the price is right, then it would make a great donor car, and certainly be a good choice for a swap.

Re: Good Buy?
I am sure, depends what I can get it for. The interior is no good. It has been sitting for 2-3 years with the T-Tops smashed. The windshield and hatch glass is smashed as well so the interior has been thoroughly rained on. I hope the ECU survived but I think I can find a replacement. What is the right price for a drive train donor?
