That's all up to you. I like all three for their own reasons. Each system has it's advantages and disadvantages. What are your plans for the car? I'm guessing since you're getting a 305 the you're just planning on making it a driver. In which case why change it then? Nothing wrong with TBI.

well i figured leave it TBI no big deal, then i figured figured Carbing it would be cool but wouldn't make a difference and then i tought TPI could make more power. it's being completely redone so not exactly a driver and the reason for a 305 is that my new 305 was free with a trans and i'm 17 a 305 is plenty of power for now, my dad owns a shop and my familys had a large history with cars. i'll be hot roding a 350 on the side. i just want my 305 to be somewhat quicker then the average car, if i switched to Carb or TPI i'd probably be using Edelbrock stuff because i get it factory new for cheap because of my dads shop. i'd really like to just make my 305 cool for now.

Since you're thinking about changing engines in the future, personally I'd stick with the TBI for now. If you feel the performance isn't enough right away, go through the TBI board for upgrade suggestions. There are a lot of things you can do to make a TBI move. As time goes on you just may want to switch to a LSX or LTX in which case money you spend on induction now will be a waste.
