Hi guys i have a 91 camaro rs with a 305 tbi. I want to swap to a 350 tbi out of an 88 gmc sierra 4wd. The camaro has edelbrock emissions headers(all the emmisions stuff is capped off) it has straight 2.5 inch exhaust and h pipe at the rear. It has a 746' ecm. 700r4 overdrive with a shift kit. I was wondering if i should use the tbi that is already on the 350. I want to do the ultimate tbi mods either way. What else do i need to get the engine to run how it should? Yes, you should use the TBI already on the 350. I believe the computer as well (better to ask about that on the TBI forum).

Your exhaust should be 3" minimum after the two sides join. Or, are you saying it has 2.5" duals now? Not sure what you mean.

 

It has 1 2.5" pipe from headers to rear then it has the dual tips coming out.

Ok, so. I got the engine in it has an rv cam since the engine was from a truck. When i first start it up, warm or cold. It has like this wandering idle. What you think that is? Oh and it. Has a 2000 rpm stall torque converter. Sometimes it dies wjen i go to put it in gear also.

 

Oh, and i dont have the money to put a three inch exhaust on it. Starting uti in glendale Heights Illinois on Monday
