Engine Swap V.S Suspension
Hi guys
was wondering if I could get your opinions on some stuff....
Soon after I get my car in good shape (engine running correctly, painjob All the little things ETC.)
I want to start throwing even more money into it
But I am not sure what is the best way to go, suspension upgrades or engine swap.... I definitely want to swap to a 350 eventually (who doesnt?) but is it better to get suspension first?
What do you guys think?

i say engine and paint and also bring the suspension back to factory spec, aka new front struts $50 each, rear shocks $25, new sway bar endlinks $40 for all four ends, and swaybar bushings $5 each, so thats around $200 and your suspension will fell great, dont blow $500 on shocks i replaced mine with Gabriel ultras from autozone and it made my suspension 10x better

Re: Engine Swap V.S Suspension
I would do the suspension first (atleast part of it). Then worry about the engine swap. You will constantly feel the suspension in a car. You feel the power a lot less often. Plus when you do upgrade the engine, the suspension work is already done and can handle the new power.
I would look at all steering components, replace those as necessary. New bushings in the front arms. New shocks/struts. Upgrade swaybars. LCAs. LCARBs as needed. Be a good time for springs since you would have it all apart. Good time for SFCs as well.
Disagree on the struts/shocks.
If you plan on doing it in the future, then do it now, and do it once. No reason to put junk cheapo shocks and struts on the car, just to do it again in a year or two. But do a search in the suspension board on the different brand shocks/struts and people's opinions on them, before you buy.
