TPI short block swap
TPI short block swap
Hi all,
I have to install a short block into a TPI. It has all the wiring harness, heads, sensors, etc.. But it has a missing short block.
My question is: can I use an old carbed short block or any other to change the bottom end? Or can I use only the TPI short block to work it properly?
Thank you!
Robi.

There is nothing unique about TPI that would require use of a special block. Any small block Chevy from '57-up will work (later ones are better, though).
