305 tpi to 96 vortec with HSR
Hi I have 85 trans am with a 305 tpi currently in it. My plans are to swap in a a 96 vortec 350 put an HSR on it, cc503 cam, and to use an ebl flash with the stock tpi harness. My dad just told that there was a crankshaft and camshaft sensor in this motor. Can I still make it work with the tpi harness and ebl flash? Will I experience any other problems?

You will need to use a computer controlled divorced coil distributor from a 87-92 tpi/tbi.
Your dad is correct but you will not use the crank sensor leave the sensor in the timing cover or remover the reluctor and slap on another timing cover. The cam sensor will be replace bye your dizzy. you will need to upgrade the injector to 22#hr contact vendor southbay great prices and service.
