Need some help/advice
I have a 89 rs camaro came with a 350 not set up (needs everything hooked up) I went through and got it running installed a low pressure inline fuel pump removed the in tank pump hooked up the hei distributor I have a few things left to get, it's carbureted so I am not good with electrical and I am trying to figure out what all I can trash from the stock v6 harness? Any help would be great and any questions you guys have I will answer to the best of my ability

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
There is a big bundle that comes from the passenger side fenderwell area that is the computer harness. Basically, you don't need any of that, and can unhook and pull it all out without cutting anything. The only possible piece you'd need is the one branch that goes to the transmission, depending upon what type of transmission you have in it now (if you have a 350, it isn't the V6 transmission).
Everything else you need - ignition, starter, chassis power, alternator, gauges - goes through the harnesses that come through the bulkhead connectors in the firewall in the rear corner of the driver side of the engine compartment.

The ecu wires that come from the passenger fender are the ones that go into the fire wall as far as I can tell they are one piecei will check when I get home

They def are one piece it runs from the fender along the fire wall to the driver side plug, it has wires coming off of it that go to the starter all the v6 block plus the injectors coils and so forth, I have my inline fuel pump connected to the power wire for the vacuum canister, I have the stock harness for starter and alternator, I have the serpentine style pulleys, and I have no idea what I spliced the hei distributor to, I tested a red wire by the passenger fender with key on it had 12.6 volts and key off it was dead so I used it for the distibutor, the only thing I have left engine wise that need a 12 volt ignition source is the electric choke, I haven't decided on transmission yet debating between th350 or 700r4 I know with the 700r4 I need the plug in for it under the car and I believe it's there I have to double check. I would like to remove as much of the extra wiring as possible I just don't know if I can because it all runs the through the stupid computer. Plus eventually down the road I would like to do a fuel injection system which I know All the wiring has to be changed. But that's for another time so if anyone has done this swap on a v6 let me know what you did to ditch all the wiring. Thanks in advance for any input.

Well, as I already said, the computer harness goes to the passenger side fender well. If that isn't there, it's been cut or removed.
The stuff going to the firewall does not go through the computer. The gauges, alternator, starter, chassis power, lights, are in those bundles, and do NOT go to the computer.
The best way to power the choke would probably be to rig up a relay to the ignition power wire that would energize the relay and power the choke. The power should come from a battery source. Doing it that way will avoid possibly reducing the ignition voltage with the power consumed by the choke heater.

There are two different sets of wires coming of the fire wall one set goes straight to the front of the vehicle for the lights the other set comes out cuts to the right and runs the length on the fire wall, it has a run off of wires the would have ran done to the starter and all the block sensors and alternator then from there it runs into the fender on the passenger side to the ecu. How do I post pictures on here so I can show you
