Difference in cams?

Can someone explain to me the differences in cams? I've youtubed CC503, voodoo 268 cam, LT4 hot cam and a few others. They all seem to (hit) and it might just be me but I really like a car with a cam that hits but I don't know/understand the differences. They all hit hard!

Re: Difference in cams?

The majority of cams with a similar grind will all perform relatively the same. You'll only notice the slight difference on an engine dyno.

There's more to a cam grind than just lift and duration. LSA, and valve timing can change how a cam performs with identical lift and duration.
