Need help with starter!

So the break down is the motor is from my 91 Gta 350 stater from 91 formula 305 will the starter work with the flex plate from the 350 Gta.

Transmission: TH-400, 3500 stall 9.5" converter

Axle/Gears: Ford 9", detroit locker, 3.89 gears

If both cars had auto trans then the starter will work.
