oil pan w/ dyno don headers

Guys,
working on my 406 build, have read about some y-pipe fitment issues with aftermarket oil pans. Looking at the moroso 20180 6 qt pan, anyone have any experience with that pan and dyno don's headers with single cat y-pipe? What oil pan will work with that y-pipe? Looking for options. Thanks!

Re: oil pan w/ dyno don headers

my advice is to just run the stock oil pan. thats what i did with my 406. there is really no need for a 6 quart pan unless you plan on running it at 4000 down the highway all the time. and the nice thing about the 400 pan is the dipsitck is on the drivers side of the engine and its easier to get to.

Re: oil pan w/ dyno don headers

The pan I used on my 400 was the old "Z28" pan 360450. It requires a windage tray; I used the Moroso Teflon-coated one.

Holds a quart more than the stock 400 pan.

Fit with the stock exhaust, Edelbrock, and SLP. Pretty sure it will work with Don's as well.
