Hi- I am new to this forum but an old guy. I am looking for a recommendation for an engine for a Hot Rod. I know this is a little off the normal swap but there are a lot of knowledge
able guys on here. This is going into a 34 ford pickup. Am considering a flat tappet 350 or an L-31. Don't need a lot of HP but want some kick and also dependability. Also what transmission would you guys recommend mating up with this? Would like to avoid as many electronics as possible. Thanks to all for any and all input.
