Engine: 5,7l (GM Crate Engine(?))
Transmission: 3 Gear Automatik TH350
Axle/Gears: Borg Warner 9 Bolt, 2.77
Crate Engine
Hi, I need some information about my engine. I think it's a Crate engine from GM. The number that I have found is: V0909ZZ1. Thank you for any information.

Thank. This helps. Does anyone have any idea when these engines were built? I think about 1987 Due to the valve cover. These have in the center since 1987 four screws. Is that right?

There should be date marks cast into the heads & block.

If I recall, the first ones had a 2 piece rear seal and non roller block.
