Finding engine block questions
does anyone actually make an aluminum small block besides the Ls-1. just curious......need info NOT Opinions
This info is from a 1999 Jim Pace GM Parts Warehouse Catalog. 1999 part numbers and prices. Check Pace's website for more or updated info.
#-10185075---Aluminum V-8 Cylinder Case (block)--$3,946.80 (350 mains size)
#-10134400---Aluminum V-8 Block--$3,874(400 mains size and dry sump)
#-24502495---Aluminum V-8 Block for big displacement engines---$4,700.90
Remember, these are 1999 prices and part numbers.
There are a couple of other aluminum blocks available. I think World Products offers them and maybe Rodeck?
