427 swap?
Just curious if it's possible to put a Chevy 427 in my 91 firebird. It is currently the 3.1 v6 that can with the car. If it is possible is there any other parts that would need to be replaced to accomadate for the power of the 427?

Alot of things. Transmission upgraded or changed. Rear end beefed up. Sfcs installed for sure. List goes on. Alot of work but depends on where you want your car to go. Nothing comes easy with these cars

If you're talking about a Chevrolet big block, see the big block sticky at the top of this forum.
A V8 will not bolt to your 6-cyl transmission, so you'll need one of those for sure.
"427" (as opposed to 396, 454, 496, 502, 565, etc.) is a minor consideration, compared to the overall concerns to be addressed with any member of that family. Frankly, IMO, a bad choice; given that the amount of money and effort is essentially identical to install a larger CID version of the same thing.
