1986 2.8L Camaro engine and tranny swap
Hi, I have a 1986 Camaro with the 2.8L engine in it right now. It has awful compression so I want to swap a 5.7L into it. Since I am going that far I might as well swap the transmission. My question is, will a 4.3L (MG5 tranny code) bolt up to my car/engine? What will need to be done to bolt it up. New bell housing?

It will probably bolt up with the correct bell housing but there is a good chance you will need to figure out a custom clutch setup, torque arm, cross member and shifter linkage making the process unnecessarily complicated and expensive. Have you tried a search a search for NV3500 or something similar on the forum?
