88 LS1 5.7 swap
Hey everyone,
I am working on my first swap. I have an 88 Iroc-Z with a 305 TBI currently. I want to get a 5.3 LS engine that is bored to a 5.7 (looking at the one on summit). Then I am looking at putting the Edelbrock and Holley conversion on to make it carbureted.
What I’m wondering is what of the wiring harness will I need to keep with this swap and can I utilize the one from my 305 or will I need to get a full LS harness and eliminate what I don’t need?
Appreciate any help or links, like I said this will be the first build so I’m working through it.

Read the sticky, this has been covered already. If you're running carbed you don't need any special harness, you just make yours work
