Well i have come to the decision that im selling my 350 RS to buy another camaro for cheap and drop a crate motor in (just as expensive, if not more to build mine up) and was checking out jegs and came across this nice one...

I think that this motor is a good price for the power it puts out. I'm just wondering if anybody has any other recommendations for other good crate motors?? I'd like to stick to a small block cuz this will still be my daily driver (... just to school 3 miles away and back...and on the weekends). Please give me any suggestions as I am not sure how high my price range is... my friend's dad owns a dealership and can get almost any GM product for 10% above cost so that in itself should be able to knock a grand or two off the price

I came across a brand new,0 miles,warranteed,COMPLETE TURNKEY, 4 bolt 350 motor for $1625 built by Mark's Performance Engines. Came with papers and list of items in motor. Look on ebay.They always have deals on new motors.That's where mine came from.I saw a lot of new motors that went for under $2000.

 

I agree with RSpeed, as an example, check this engine out... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...item=599993287 ...more HP and $1500 less..........and this is just the first one I came across(only looked for like 30 sec), look a bit more and Ebay and you will probably find an even better deal.
