ECU PCM pin out help

Hi All,

I recently bought a an 89RS that has had a LS1 with 4L60E TX install.

The car runs well and has been since 2008, with many upgrades including txmission upgrades etc.

The speedo has never worked but there is a Dakota Digital ECD-100 connected to the mechanical speedo that has never been wired up. I see 3 wires red black white. Where the white wire I assume is hooked up the the pulse ECU VSS output.

The car is installed with a reprogrammed ECU AC Delco 09354896 unit which has J1 Blue stamped on it supplied from Texas Speed with a standalone LS1 swap harness. From what I have read, the VSS can a white wire on the ECU. I see 2 white wires.. one measuring 12volts when ignition started and the other approx 4.5 volts which could be the output I need. I don't want to hook either of them out without some opinions from those who may have a similar setup. In other places the VSS is dark green and white which I believe is the stock VSS LS1 ECU colour?

With these reflashed units, is it known that most suppliers use the same colour wires as used stock for stock LS1? I am assuming that this unit controls both engine and txmission but I dont have much documentation here. I plan to contact Texas speed too but wondered if anyone on here has any info..

Also on the lookout of software / cables / that I can use to talk to the ECU and read some engine vitals... I haven't even located a diag port (if there is one)
Thanks for any help info advice that anyone has.

Thanks

Dek
