Vette/ZZ4 heads

Do the alu. 58cc Vette/ZZ4 heads work on 87-95 engines?? If not what do they work on??

They work on any standard SBC; I'm using them on my '89 L98 right now. They are similar to '87+ SBC heads except the center two intake bolts are angled differently; slight grinding on your intake manifold will allow it to still be used; this is what I did.

They won't work on an LT1 or with a Vortec intake.

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
They also don't have the exhaust cross-over passages, so unless you use a Vette intake, you'll have to rig up plumbing of exhaust gases up to the EGR valve.

How do they perform?? What kind of compression do you run.... Is it close to 9.5:1 since it is a Alu. head w/ 58cc chambers? Are they equivalent to the Trick Flow G2s??
