Looking for proper L98 iron head equivalent castings

My local machine shop had this in their book:

I highlighted what I understand are the stock L98 casting numbers. I have also read to be careful that some 350 heads are restrictive. I am hoping to locate castings that will work as well as the stock stuff, if there are any. The machinist said he found the short block, but only a set of "175" heads which do not appear to be listed.

083 heads should be around. I'd call some of the bigger engine re-builders and have them check their inventory. Places like Coast Motor Supply.

I was going to use these heads if I could not find 083s, as they are similar/maybe better than stock. Has internal EGR passages so smog friendly. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VORTEC-HYBR...T/171430638393

I have a set of 083’s, but I would imagine shipping from NC to CA would make it an unreasonable expense. Would it not be more cost effective to buy the complete L98 that Dyno Don offered to you and have it freshened up?

Hey maybe I can buy the short block off of you after you yank the heads off. I'd love an OE L98 shortblock with OE cam to rebuild for later.
