Lol yea, so basically it’s just the accessories? Fan, headlights, headlight motor, blinkers, and I assume taillights?

It controls the up/down of the Firebird headlights.

Re: Question bout this “guide”

"Guide" is the brand name that Delco used for light-related things. Bulbs, sockets, taillight housings, etc. Seeing that name on something is pretty much a 100% guarantee that it's involved in lights.

Which of course makes sense for that object, which is the module that controls the disappearing-headlights motor.

So, no, you don't really "need" it for your "swap", as such; but you do need it if you want your headlights to go up and down, swap or not.

ok and it’d associate with the taillights and hooking up the brake light switch?
off topic also how would I go about wiring the maf sensor.. didn’t come with the harness I bought took it off the old one, had a pink wire going into the fuseblock. I can figure out the pins but what would I do with the pink wire? Current harness has 4x2 block and I’m pretty sure all spaces are used.

The brand name "Guide" would, yes; in a general way. All of that stuff is part of the CAR, not of the MOTOR, and as such, should be put back like it came and left alone. No need to worry about "hooking up".

Pink in the MAF sensor connector is one of the multitude of pink wires coming from the fusebox connector C1 if memory serves. Fused 12V. There's about 40 such wires that power all sorts of things; sensors, solenoids, and so on. When you get a truck fusebox and trim it down to your needs, it'll take care of itself, as you can clearly see from the 200x truck FSM you bought.

DO NOT CUT ANYTHING. You will regret it when you get the correct parts all sorted out.

1. Ok
2. well I’m not using the truck block anymore I’ve bought it custom made but was made for speed density, poor choice at the time as I thought weather temp wouldn’t matter. Just would like to know how to get that pink wire onto the 4x2 block without having to mess with to much stuff
3. I have been studying and learning what will be needed, or used for multi purposes. I’ve just ran into the problem with the maf sensor thing
