Hello, I am thinking of swapping a 400 into my stock 305 TPI Trans am. I was wondering the basics of what is needed to happen to do this conversion while keeping the stock gauges.

The 400 is going to have Dart 200cc heads with a 72cc combustion chamber, flat top pistons, a Weiand Xcelerator intake, and a 750 cfm Holley. I would use a non-cc HEI distributor.

1. Can I use the electric fuel pump with a fuel pressure regulator?
2. If I ditch the ECM, would my Tach and other gauges work?
3. How could I keep my cruise control? (I got to drive this sucker 3 hours to a race track)
4. Would the 700r4 need a torque converter lockup switch without a ECM?

I also plan to remove as little amount of wiring as possible incase I want to bring it back to stock to sell. Does the wiring harness just unplug?
