350?
350?
I am dropping a 350 into my 84 Berlinetta and I am curious as to how I know it's a 350. I bought the engine from my uncle and he's really into cars (had 68 camaro) and he told me it is a 350. However, 305 is stamped on the block on both sides (near fuel pump and directly opposite near starter). Is this number pertaining to the cubic inches of the motor or is it something else? I appreciate any help you send. Thanks..

You really need the casting number to identify what it was. That should be on the back near the bellhousing on the driver side. I can post a pic later of where its at if someone else doesnt. It will probably be 6 or 7 digits long on that block.
Once you get that post here, or go to this website:

They may have some pics of where the casting number is on that website.
