My 20yr old son is building his first "Hot Rod '', a 1988 IROC code named Cougar Bait.
His money + my tools = priceless memories. I'm SBC born, bred and bled so it's meant some learning for us both with the research and parts searching left to me.
"The Roc" has been given a 6.0L(LY6) and we have come to the point of needing to decide the best route for accessories to keep that stock look...do we keep the 3" truck spacing/accessories or would we get a cleaner look swapping the bottom damper to an LS1 and using the 2" spacing and gen 4 accessories ?
A/C has been deleted and we would like to have the alternator passenger side and power steering driver side.

 

Take a look at the stickies in the LS sub forum as they go into detail on front accessories. You have tons of OEM and aftermarket options, all of which can vary in cost.

Take some time to search too and see what others are using. There are many combo's that work but some depend on what K-Member you are using along with other considerations.
