93 350 TBI SWAP INTO 85 PICKUP WIRING DISASTER
Hello all, im new to the site so if i post something in the wrong place please let me know so i can correct the issue. Long story short, i lost my grandfather and father this year with only months in between. Then theres the covid mess that came through and caused my recent unemployment. So now im without a job, a reliable and legal way of going, and my only concerns is for my grandmother who sits alone everyday with no one to care for her, no one calls ,comes by, ect.....and she unable to drive. Im all she has and its just not a really good time for me. I Apologize for all that, i just wanted to inform how serious this is for me and any help will be very much appreciated. Recently someone give me a 1985 dodge d150 with what appears (im just going to guess here) to be a 93 gmc 350 tbi engine swapped into it. Yes, i know i will probably get some dirty looks for it but hey, im not the one who did the engine swap lol. Problem is, along the way before reaching my hands, someone tried to hotwire it.....maybe to steal it....???? i have no idea, but they cut and removed both the 85 stock fuse box and the 93 350 tbi fuse block. Sorry i forgot to mention that with the engine also came the transmission (4l60e) the pcm,the wiring harness, and fuse block. i have located the 85 factory fuse block. And i nearly have it wired back together..... i think. What im trying to figure out now is what all is needed in order to get the transmission functioning properly bc as of now i believe its in limp mode, also what all would i need to wire back in to get the engine running more smoothly. i did manage to find the wires to crank and start the truck. But it has a long ways to go and a short time to get there. sorry so much to read, just trying to well inform anyone of the situation at hand. please help !!! thanks in advance
