Ls swap dbw issues
I was hoping someone would be able to help me out. I swapped a 09 6.0 into my camaro and during regular driving or anything under wot i dont have any issues. But once i try to got wot and hit 4k it cuts out and i lose all throttle response until i shut it off and restart it. Has anyone ever run into this issue before. If so any information on what could solve it?

Which throttle body are you running? What is your ignition and fuel setup? What DBW pedal are you using? What mods do you have? Are you running a VVT/AFM equipped motor?

stock throttle body, stock fuel inj and ign coils through the stock e38 ecm. Pedal is out of an 07 truck that had the same pedal as the 09. It is a vvt engine. Havent done any internal mods yet. Ran low on money and just decided i wanted to drive it the way it was

What fuel pump are you running?

Are you sure you are getting enough fuel? Did you beef up the wiring for that fuel pump? The stock wiring can't really support anything larger than a 255lph pump, reliably anyways.

It sounds like you are setting a throttle pedal or throttle body code . Start with scanning for codes . My swap would set a PO 2138 code and the throttle would shut down until I restarted or cleared the code . Mine was related to an after market cruise control that had the wrong wiring instructions . When my escalde did it it was a failed throttle body . but they were different codes. The pedal sends 2 separate outputs to the PCM and if there is to much differance between them the PCM shuts down the pedal to prevent unentended acceleration.
