Ok. I have researched and read multiple threads regarding this topic but most are older or don’t answer what I’m looking for.
I am going to LS swap my 85 z28. I have an engine and I’m putting together a parts list.
The engine is a L9H , 6.2, from a 2011 Silverado. The engine is complete with all front accessories. I have purchased a LS3 intake to help with hood clearance issues.
Is there a way I can use/fit the engine with its original accessories (ps, alt, a/c, etc)? Also, is there a way to make it fit with the a/c and alt mounted lower?

I am using truck accessories and I cleared my hood just fine with “sliding” or “adjustable” engine mounts. When I swapped to a TBSS intake my clearance got pretty tight. Low mount AC will not fit without crossmember modification. I used a 1998-2002 LS1 camaro PS hose, screwed right in. Factory high mount truck alternator fit but I had to massage the hood very slightly and take a file to some of the ridges on the alternator.

 

ICT Billet has an F body kit that places the ac compressor passenger side with power steering drivers side valve cover and the alternator below that.
Uses truck accessories, their swap guides are fantastic and they answer emails quickly. Just ordered the last of the goodies we need for our swap.

Put a posi in it because it had no traction otherwise lol
