I need more power!!! I have a motor picked out to swap in but i will need to use my old oil pan and balancer. I have 115,000 miles on my stuff now and i was wondering if someone who has done this exact swap before could give me some more info on how i hook up everything to make it work properly and dependably. Such As...... The bracket on the front of the motor that has all the pumps and alternator, and AC compressor bolt on to an older style block?? I am going to ditch the AC all together ,but how do I hook up the power steering pump up to an old style motor w/o that bracket.
and could i use a fan spacer and hook up a regular fan to the cam pully or is it hard to wire up a switch to the dash that you can flip on the already electric fan thats on the radiator because i think its computer controlled already.
One more thing...i'm pretty sure the 700-R4 and stock rear will handle 350 hp.....

Think of any other odd ball stuff i forgot to mention that is weird and tuff to swap out for this new setup.

I may sound like a dumb *** but i'm sorta new to this stuff.

I can't help you out, as I'm about to do a motor swap myself. I just noticed that you were from Wichita too!! Me too! Who built your engine for you?

Well...I havent built it yet. I used to work at Fastrack Performance over on West Douglas and i quit there because they just quit ordering inventory, but i am tryin to find work somewhere because i am dying to build my car up. Where do you work or go to school or what ever in wichita??? jus curious. i may know you or something...never know!!!!
