Swap 2.8 V6 5-speed to 327

Hello, I am new to the forum and a novice in mechanics. I have a 1986 Berlinetta with the stock 2.8 V6 and a T5, 5 speed. I am wanting to put a rebuilt 327 that came out of a 1969 Impala into it, but keep the T5 for now. I will eventually upgrade the transmission to a TKX or something, but for now I just want to put the V8 in and be able to cruise in the Camaro. What do I need to make the swap? Clutch? Input Drive? Flywheel? Bell Housing? I want to do as little as possible so I'm not investing too much in a transmission that'll eventually be changed. Thanks!

Bellhousing, FW, clutch, pilot bushing, might need a fork; not sure if they're the same or not.....for the engine to trans interface.

From what I had found going through the forum, I figured as much. I was hoping someone has already done it and had recommendatuons on specific parts, kits, or anything.

Someone may. Last time I did a V8>T5 swap, I pieced every part together individually, using classifieds (paper) and Zeller Automotive (remember that place?).

Everything; nothing from a V6 will fit a V8.

Say what? How will the trans itself not fit?

He said he was "Keeping the T5;" I assumed he already knew it would work.

....prob shouldn't "assume" anything here though..........

I apologize, I want to clarify. I know that I'll have to change things for them to work together. I am hoping for some guidance on what though. What clutch have people used? Is is better to get a clutch for the 14 spline or change it to the 26 spline shaft? What has been done that works well but keeps me from dropping the k's on a new transmission in the short term and be able to enjoy the car this summer

Your clutch question and any other questions that might come up when you get into this are answered here: V6 to V8 Swap - READ BEFORE POSTING NEW! - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Thanks! I did read that prior to joining the forum. I thought I'd get lucky and with my specific application find a user that's already done it and could give a more detailed path to follow. I appreciate your responses
