Need help with lighting for swap
Need help with lighting for swap
I am swapping a LM7/t56, and going to be using mostly holley electronics. I plan on picking up a terminator x soon, and I dont know how I would be able to use my factory lighting. The car is completely gutted minus the harness, and i just need to know how I would isolate the lighting to work with the terminator system. I dont plan on using the factory gauge cluster. Would it also be worth while to wire my own ignition switches or also try to use the one from the factory harness?

There are a lot of LS swap wiring guides written here over the years, a couple that are pro level. You're basically performing the same swap many have before, even though the controller may be different. The lighting harness forward of c100 is separate from most of the engine harness, and I would recommend you retain the factory ignition switch unless you're installing a switch panel with relays.

Keep your dash harness and you'll be good to go, along with having various points to connect your Holley.
