I need help with an engine swap
I am lookin to relplace my stolen IROC and i found a great deal on a blue 1989 IROC with a 5-speed and the 305 TPI. HOwever, I want to replace the engine with a Gm Performance 350 H.O. engine and want to know what i would need to make the switch over still using the TPI system. Also, what kind of power would i make with this setup wiht all stock pieces since it is supposed to make 330 HP wiht a carb and headers. Please Help me!!!

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
The 350 HO has Vortec heads. That means a $400 Vortec TPI base.
CHP magazine had a recent article on this combo. With a 650 carb, the engine makes 330 hp. With the Vortec TPI and shorter aftermarket runners (more $'s), they were about 30 shy of that, if memory serves.
