I have a 92 Camaro RS, I also have a 87 IROC. The Iroc has been wrecked Since I only paid 600$ for the iroc I went ahead and stripped it. The kid who wrecked it had just put a new Tranny in it, so I got a 350 tpi motor, new tranny, posi rear end with disc brakes, and alot of other parts from the car. I already have motor torn apart getting ready to bore and rebuild. But my main concern is that when I go to put it in the RS I am affraid that all my gauges won't work any more. I have looked at painless wiring harnesses. but I can't use the computer from the IROC becouse the gauges and every thing else on the Rs will not function properly. What Should I do? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Your only real concerns will be the speedometer and oil pressure gauge. The oil pressure gauge might have 2 senders on the 87, I am not positive, but thats a simple rewire to fix. The speedo I'd guess you will need the VSS setup off a TA unless the 87 already has the sensor in the trans and the wiring up to the ECM. Something tells me the 87 Z's were cable driven and you will have to pirate parts off of a newer Z or an 86-up TA. The tach, coolant temp and alternator gauges are separate from the ecm, so it wont matter for those.
