heres the deal i have a 305 tpi and i plan to add a 350 tpi heres the ?. what can i add to my 305 that i can transfer to my 350. i dont have the money to buy a 350 and through it in the car so i want to drive my car.. so basically what performance parts can i add ( nheaders chip throttle body) to my 305 and when i get my 350 i can swap it with out having to buy the part twice i hope you understand my ? will my 305 tpi fit on a 350.. any help is appr... thanx mike

 

Your 305 TPI will bolt on to your 350. You will need to upgrade to 350 injectors(22lb/hr, 305's are 19lb/hr), and the chip. It would run with the 305 parts, but not that great. Pretty much any parts will fit the 305 and 350. They are both small block chevy's, so any external parts will fit either engine. Headers and exhaust are a good start. Cam and roller rocker arms would be a good investment. The usual cold air induction and airfoil also. Don't forget the igniton: I prefer MSD coil, module and wires, and I like the AC Delco Rapidfire plugs. Good luck.
