Well, if there is anyone that has a copy that they could scan, or draw, or whatever, that would be really helpful. Thank you. Oh, yeah, by the way, It needs to be an LG4, prefferably from an '82. I don't know if any other year would be different. But please send them all.

Classic Industries has them, but not on there site. If you call them @ 1-800-854-1280, they are $5. They will need to know if its a 305G, 305H, or 305F (LG4, L69, or LB9) Auto/manual trans, and Federal/California emissions.

Thanks, I don't care about the sticker itself, I just need to know the right way to hook the vaccum lines up.

I pulled a fan guard off of an '82 trans am with an LG4 and it's got the emissions stickers still on it. Whether or not thats the original fan guard i don't know but it seems to be. If you still need the diagram, I can probably take a pic of it or something.

First I would like to welcome flyway190 to the boards!!
Second, Stingerssx, I saw your dismay when I responded to CanadianCamaro's post on the Tech/General Engine forum regarding vacuum line diagrams. It seems you have been waiting for years with no luck, but you don't follow up on your posts in threads so I didn't know exactly what you needed, but now I do, so your wait is over!!
You asked and you shall receive...although a years late
If you clean the front of your carb really well, you will actually see the letters stamped on the carb body next to the ports that correspond to the letters in diagrams below. You didn't say whether yours was an export model or not so I included both. The export model does NOT have a computer controlled carb. The other vacuum diagram is the same for 1982-1985 LG4/L69 VIN H/G. The only difference between the LG4 and L69 as far as vacuum hoses, is that there is ONE extra hose attached to the second air snorkel that attaches via a tee to the first air snorkel and to the temp sensor in the air cleaner housing. I only posted the 83, since they are all the same and it was the clearest diagram and you did ask for an LG4. In 86 there are major changes including an extra port on the carb. So if you changed your carb to an 86 or later, these diagrams won't help, but I do have those as well. Just e-mail me.
As for classic industries, unfortunately they, nor GM carries the underhood "tune up" stickers for any 82 or 83 V8. I tried
for my 83 TA. These stickers contain much more info than just the vacuum diagram and are much more particular to engine/tranny/and emission combinations. An example, is a California car has different tune up requirements than a non California even if the car has the same enigine.
By the way these come from "Chilton Repair Manual part number 7345 FIREBIRD 1982-1990"
Good Luck

Man, thank you for what you've done!!! My computer has been dumping on me for the last year, and hopefully now it will keep working.
I have the first diagram, but I didn't think that it was right because some of it doesn't make sense to me. I'm not the best mechanic in the world, but I do know a little about this stuff,(mainly because all of the research that I have done).
I say that it doesn't make sense because first when I bought a new PCV valve, I check out the catologs at different auto shops and the part that it says to use, has a "T" fitting on the top. And the one for later models have only one, like in the picture. Also, my air management valve only has one fitting on it. And the picture has two, even though they come off of a "Y" fitting.
Another thing is that some of the fittings are different sizes. For example, on the carb they are smaller than the canister control valve. I don' t even know if my car had a canister control valve. I don't see why not, but I never have seen another 82 that has all of the original lines. I have seen many 84, and 85's, and others, but they more follow the diagram that you gave me.
Maybe what I'll do is just copy this diagram on my car and see if they pass it.
That's not my only worry though. It's got a 350 that I put a smog legal "Compu Cam" from Crane Cams, but it's pretty big.
But the worst part is that the block is from 1977. So if he checks the VIN, I'm out. Also, I've got headers, they're Edelbrock, and they have the CARB EO # tag right on them, but they're for TPI motors. There is no EFE. If he checks that, I'm screwed there two. I removed the heater and airconditioning, so there is alot more room to see stuff like that. Also, I put in a WC T-5, and the second gear is out. I might be able to get that fixed though.
I probably am not going to be able to pass the visual, but I'm pretty sure that I'm going to pass the sniffer. I just need to find someone that won't care about the visual part.
Thank you for all of your help, and I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to come back.
