Ok here goes my friend is getting a 350 for his 3rd gen, I was gonna buy the 305 off him but I didnt have the money. To make a long story short, hes giving away the 305 and I said Id take it (possibly for my 92 Fb). It runs fine (its in his car now). What would be involved in swaping that? And the other question. Is it even worth it? Im going to UTI in september and plan to rebuild and drop in a bad azz 350 or more? Should I even put the 305 in or should I wait?

My v-6 has 116,000 on it now and its still running strong. The 305 has I think 151,000 and it sounds and runs good (its in his car now). And the 350 I would get would either be a new crate motor, or a already rebuilt motor, or a good 350 that Ill just rebuild myself when Im at school (U.T.I). So eventully Im gonna have a new or slightly used 350 or more no matter what. I was just wondering for the time being if it would be wrong to swap the v-6 for the 305 so I could get a little more power. I dont know if youve ever driven a v-6 bird but stock they are damn slow. And I need more power. I cant take getting beat by these ricers. Thanx
