Cfi 350?
Cfi 350?
I get the feeling that my 82 Z/28 has the worst engine Chevrolet ever built. The 305 cross fire injection motor. It is way underpowered (or it was before it decided to go kuput). Anyways, the engine recently expired and instead of rebuilding it or replacing it with another CFI 305 I was wondering what it would take to replace it with the CFI 350 out of the 82-84 Corvette. I realize the cross fire injection motor is not worth much but the only reason I want to keep it is so that I dont have to replace the computer. Any help to help me get my car on the road again is greatly appreciated. Also, another concern of mine, the 82 Camaro was only given the 200C transmission and i was wondering if that would be strong enough to hold up to the 350.
Thanks Again
Thanks Again
Doesnt the '82 Camaro have the TH350 tranny? not the th200c? That 350 CFI would be a fairly straightfoward swap. The CFI 305 the worst engine that Chevrolet ever built?
I can think of a few more with less power.
