LS6 swap
LS6 swap
Hi, right now i had saved up for an LS1 swap but i saw the evo body kit so i am purchasing that. Now, since i am going to go with that body, i have decided that i want to back it up with some power. I am going to put in an LS6 engine in it next summer when u have enough again. MY question is, do u think a LS6 swap is harder than an LS1 swap or are they basically the same? thanks

they're the same, only diff is heads intake and cam, the blocks are nearly identical. Good luck and post some times and pics!! You going to do a T56 also? i wish i could afford it. I know a guy who builds 500 horsepower LS1s. here's his site.

no, i am going to use a 4 speed auto, if i can, i know u can with a LS1 so i figure i will use an auto on this engine, i would get a manual but i suck so bad at stick and i dont feel like having to convert my car from auto to manual. What is a good tranny, like a 4L60E?thanks
