yes i know it's a 3rd gen site but I had more than a dozen transams.I want to swap an lt1 into my 80 ta but i need to know which way to go with the fuel delivery.everyone tells me I have to put an electric pump in the tank,and other people say i can run an in line fuel pump.If i have to put a pump in the tank can I modify the original and does anyone know of a place that deals with custom gas tanks.a # or a web site would be a big help.

 

Pick up the latest issue of Car Craft. They swapped an LT1 into a originally LG4 equipped Malibu. Not exactly a T/A but is shows the basic upgrades you need to do.
