I have a 1992 RS 305 auto (TBI) with close to one hundred thousand miles on it. The car runs pretty good still but I think a few seals are on their way out and I am considering rebuilding the engine. The question is how much would it cost to rebuild the engine. I would like a race car but with my budget 500 to 1000 dollars I probably wont get one. Now since I am rebuilding the engine would it be better to buy a used 350 from a junk yard and rebuild it instead and then do a swap, and how much do you think it would cost. I would like to use high performance parts during the rebuild, but it all depends on how much its going to cost me. I am looking for price ranges and suggestions as to what high performance parts I should use during the rebuild.
