what gearbox is it?
This sounds a stupid question but what gearbox does my car have? its an 82 Z28 3spd auto so its either a TH350 or TH400..cant remeber & I need to order the rear mount

uhh, wont be TH400, thats the heavy duty ( truck) box,
TH200C for an '82, according to my Haynes manual. I assume its a three speed, coz 84 was the changeover to TH700R4

Do you meen the "always broken" tranny to crossmember rubber?
If so, i'm 99.9% sure its the same for all years, although, unless your car is tuned, i'd avoid the poly ones!
normal type thirdgen tranny mounts are somewhere around the 15 (ish) quid mark, from US Automotive.
