Hello all, im a new owner of a 1992 Pontiac Firebird, i lurked this forum before i made the purchase, very good resources for findings parts and stuff. The car was bought in very good condition, only minor interior parts missing, as well as the airbag (the former owner registered it as no airbag, due to being unable to find the parts here in spain, so you can put aftermarket steering wheels, right now it has the original wheel but emptied) it was repainted just over year ago, under 40000 miles, i will upload some pictures in a moment, when i find how to do it from a phone. Looking forward to joining the third gen community there are lots of stuff i want to learn from here.

Congrats, the Firebird looks beautiful. I had seen the car in the website for weeks, and thinking in the posibility of bring it to my house and add another 3rd gen to my garaje, but finally I did not decide to do it.

Were you able to fix the problem in the end?

 

Yeah, it was the antitheft device, I just bought some GM resistances in Ebay and put the right one in the yellow wire thing. No problems for over a year.
