Well, my current setup is just too loud for me. Monster engine!! So i want something that is quiet at idle but sounds like a beast when you get on it any ideas? I currently have the 80 series flowmaster. Thanks

yeah, i was thinking about the hooker exhaust setup. Any thoughts on that? Is that quieter than a flowmaster at idle?

Yeah, the hooker is quieter at idle. Do you have a cat on your car? If you put a high flow cat on with Flow it will quiet it down and make it sound deeper.

Yeah, it seems to be a characteristic of the 80 series that its about the same volume level no matter what RPM. I can't explain how that works, but mines the same way. Same volume about all of the time.

From what I've heard, the hooker gets louder as RPMs go up, and has a much different sound up top than the flowmaster. Plus the price isn't bad.

We should look at some of the other ones that don't get as much attention like random tech, I've heard they're real nice but don't know how much they cost. I could always look it up though, I've seen it on sponsors links before.

yeah, it is loud. Lets just say that a 425 HP motor isnt quiet.

I want something thats quieter at idle and loud when the RPMs increase. Cause at idle its just going to get a ticket if a cop hears me. That bright red paint doesnt draw attention either.
