It means the cat(s) has(have) to be in the stock location.
I am not trying to be smart, but if it meant that the cats had to be in the stock location(I know its like this in most places) then why does it say that you can go from dual to single and single to dual exhaust? That would not make any sense.

Yeah and the club that Pantera owns, The Clubhouse.
Anyways I just read this and you are allowed to switch from single to dual, as long as you have cats you are good.

dood u jus thave to know i people i guess. I went in to an emmissions test and my cat wasnt bolted up to the intermediate pipe at all. It was so freakin loud and the guy just drove it around to the back, marked some things on his notepad while he was sittin gin my car, then checked to see if my lights worked, and thats it and gave me teh sticker. I guess in my town we dont care. They dont look at exhaust or under the hood at all.
o, no sniffer test either, well we have some, but i suggest gooing to the bad part of town and to a run down shop that does emmissions testing, they usually dont have that crap and dont care.

Was wondering that , too...also, what some of my fellow Texans don't apparently realize is that the number of counties that require the 'sniffer' emissions test can be counted on one hand (well, maybe a finger or two on the second hand.).....
And San Angelo isn't one of them....

Maybe I just go to a really shady shop. Got my inspections sat. had a copy of insurance that i printed up from an email i got from insurance co. Dude took about 1.2 seconds looking at it from about 3 feet away.. It could have said Winnebago on it and he wouldnt have noticed. Then I also have 20% tint on the windows ( almost twice what state law allows) . he pulled the car halfway into the garage, hit the horn and lights, said 12.50 please and I was on my way. This is the 5th car ive taken to this place and it has never taken me more than 5 min...
